Personal Summary

I have done individual tutoring at A Level, GCSE and Key Stage 2. I just spent 5 days tutoring A Level Maths, teaching core as well as S2, and M3. It was an intensive revision session where I helped the student consolidate all he had been taught into focused revision notes. I worked on his exam technique, building his confidence and highlighting recurring themes in exam questions. I have also taught GCSE Biology, Maths and Physics. I helped construct concise diagrams in revision notes to help simplify the large amounts of information needed to be learnt. Whilst at Oxford I volunteered with the Christ Church Learning Scheme, where I was allocated to teach a young girl Key Stage 2 Maths. I went to her house for an hour weekly, coming up with new and creative ways of teaching maths to keep her excited.

Interests

I have just finished my Masters in Physics, and still have a keen interest in Physics. However my path is a little different to that of the usual physicist as I am applying to do an art foundation and helping to start a Physics-Art collaboration group here in London. I am actively working towards creating a new mode of learning and teaching Physics, both in schools and in terms of the wider community. I am also an avid reader, I started a book group in London which meets monthly.
