| Nigel Hadden-Paton Read bio Nigel Hadden-Paton served as an Army officer for 14 years in The Household Cavalry: this included three operational tours in Northern Ireland and command of a 550 strong Company at The Guards Depot, training 16 to 18 year old soldiers. In 1986, on leaving the military, he returned to his family estate and became involved in an event management company, running team building and leadership activities for young executives using his planning and organisational skills. This led to him and his wife, Sarah, looking after four teenagers of a prominent Qatari family over three summers, teaching and helping them understand traditional English culture and life skills. It was out of this experience that ‘English Mentors’ was born. Nigel is a Governor of an English Private School in the West Country and Director of The Guards Polo Club. He is married with two adult and two teenage children.
