Our tutors often find that their most productive and rewarding work often takes place in the school holidays, when children can focus on their tutor in the morning, without the pressures of a school day and homework. By working for a number of consecutive days, rather than once a week, Bonas MacFarlane tutors can reenforce material, by revisiting it on a daily basis.
Since many families are based in the countryside during the holidays, we provide residential Bonas MacFarlane tutors, who can travel to stay with or near families, wherever they may be in the world.
This provides the opportunity for the tutor to spend the day with the tutee. Four to five hours of tuition will be spread out over the day, which allows break times for sports, creative activity or simply spending time with a young tutor who can become a trusted mentor and friend.
