All school placements start with an assessment of the child. We use a full range of academic and cognitive tests. Then we have extensive conversations with parents to agree a short list of schools. We organize visits, with the option to be accompanied by a consultant. Extensive communication between our advisors, the schools and family continues until an acceptance at a favoured school has been secured.

We have designed bespoke courses to help children prepare for admission tests, build confidence and allow children to set themselves apart at the interview stage. Camps are also carefully structured to meet children's needs. Camp Bonas, for example, allows campers aged 8-13 learn to look after themselves through an immersion in the English countryside, and take part in professionally delivered team-based workshops.

A Bonas MacFarlane assessment, alongside school and educational psychologist reports, enables our team to see where a child stands academically compared with national and international averages.
